What Are We Looking For? We are seeking an enthusiastic professional who aspires to a permanent position in an internationally operating organization. If you are the person we are looking for, then you are:
- The Move Coordinator: You meticulously handle each relocation assignment under guidance. As the point of contact, you guide our clients throughout the entire process. You manage administrative tasks, internal and external communication at an international level, and oversee all processes. From confirming relocation dates to booking sea freight, handling customs, and sending the final invoice – you take the lead.
- The Communicator: You communicate 90% in English, primarily via email. You maintain contacts with clients and the executing parties in our network (subcontractors, booking offices, customs).
- The Organizer: You execute tasks correctly based on the company’s established procedures and instructions. Additionally, you handle invoicing and send out Google review requests.
- The Team Player: You enjoy collaborating with others and are a valuable addition to our enthusiastic international team. Together, we maximize productivity throughout the workday.
Job Description
At Royal De Gruijter & Co., we have an exciting role for you as a Junior Move Coordinator. In this position, you are the linchpin, ensuring that international relocation assignments run smoothly.
What will you be doing?
- Supporting Senior Move Managers: You work closely with our experienced Move Managers, learning all the ins and outs of the trade during your induction.
- Independently Handling and Coordinating Relocation Assignments: You are responsible for meticulously handling and coordinating international moves. From the moment the relocation date is confirmed until sending out the final invoice, you take the lead.
- Administrative Processing: You ensure accurate and complete processing of service and relocation documents in our CRM system.
- Communication: You maintain contacts with clients and external parties in our network, such as subcontractors, booking offices, and customs. This is primarily done in English.
- Following Procedures and Instructions: You carry out all tasks according to the organization’s established procedures and instructions.
- Invoicing: You ensure precise invoicing.
- Quality, Safety, and Environment: You monitor that all activities are performed to high standards in terms of quality, safety, and environmental considerations.
Required Personal Qualities/Competencies
To be successful in this role, we expect the following from you:
- MBO/HBO Level of Education and Thinking: You have a strong foundation and are ready for a challenging role.
- Technical Skills: You are proficient in computer applications, such as Outlook/WORD/Excel
- Resilience: You can handle busy situations and meet deadlines effectively.
- Commercial and Communication Skills: You approach customers and partners tactfully and communicate fluently in both Dutch and English
- Experience: Experience in a similar role or industry is great but not necessary.
- Problem-Solving Ability: You think in solutions because problems don’t exist for you, and you can adapt quickly.
- Reliability: We rely on your integrity and trustworthiness.
- Team Player: You enjoy collaborating and are a valuable addition to our enthusiastic international team.
